Weekend Wellness Challenge - 110 Rep Workout

​Are you a workout warrior looking for a fun NEW challenge? You’ve come to the right place. This challenge is for Saturday and Sunday and is designed to strengthen you physically and mentally. It’s also a great way to get the whole family active this weekend!

​THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE:
 
15-Minute Meditation
Meditating in the morning is a great way to clear your mind of any negativity or stress that has built up all week and is great for going over your goals for the day ahead of you.
 
Drink One Gallon of Water
A large portion of our population neglects staying hydrated throughout the day. If you are one of these people, drinking a gallon of water will prove to be a very beneficial challenge.
 
Outdoor Workout
Complete 50 air squats, 30 pushups, and 30 lunges without stopping if possible (110 reps total). Finish up the workout with 30 minutes of outdoor cardio. Great forms of outdoor cardio include walking, running, swimming, or biking. Just choose what works best for you.

THE BENEFITS:
 
The 110-repetition workout followed by 30-minutes of outdoor cardio will be a great way to change up your weekend routine and challenge your body’s cardiovascular endurance. If it ends up raining this weekend, the challenge is still ON!!! This weekend wellness challenge is just as effective indoors as it is outdoors. Instead of outdoor cardio, you would just need to pick an indoor substitute like a treadmill, bike, or elliptical.
